What Does This Urethral Swab Test Report Indicate?
I recently had a urethral swab done checking for STI and the gram stain came back RARE GRAM POSITIVE COCCI IN PAIRS PUS CELLS 0-1/OIF; EPITHELIAL CELLS 0-1/OIF . This was a test for cure after I tested positive for gonorrhea and was treated for it two weeks prior. Does this mean the treatment wasn t successful?

The most possible cause could be Nisseria gonorrhie and it would need a 7 day course of cotriamoxazole taken twice a day. Also you can take paracetamol for other symptoms like fever and pain, if present. You'll be alright a the course ends.
