Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I frequently have symptoms of a UTI. Urinalysis usually shows many bacteria but nothing else. WBC and RBC s negative, nitrite negative. I had a hysterectomy with Burch procedure in 1991. I am 63 and a widow and not sexually active. Right now I have the 4th episode of this for this year. Symptoms include urinary frequency, urgency to the point that I wet myself frequently and slight burning. My PCP doesn t think this is recurrent UTI s. What else could it be?
