You can confirm the infection by urine culture test that also helpful to find antibiotic sensitivity. I prescribed following medicine and advice in urinary tract infection: Tablet spetran or norfloxacin plus nitrozolium, tablet pyridium, syrup cidal, Drink plenty of waters and juice of cranberry. Maintain proper pelvic hygiene, always empty the bladder completely and do not do delay in urination. You have to take antibiotic according to culture report to completely cure infection and to prevent reinfection. Repeat the culture after 14 days or after completion of antibiotic to confirm the clearance of infection. So consult the urologist and take prescribed drug.
