What Does This Urine Analysis Result Indicate?

Hi, My PH is 5.5 Protein: trace Red blood cells 40 Epithelial Cells: Occasional Mild haematuria detected From what I can see online, it could be a bladder issue. My Doctor is sending me for a Kidney ultrasound to eliminate kidney stones. Should I seek a 2nd opinion? Thanks

Looking at your reports provided,I can assure you its either related to your urinary tract,or kidney.

1.Regarding the urinary tract or bladder, I must say it can be an infection of the former.If you have any symptoms like burning sensation while passing urine,or pain at the site of urination(that's called urethra),hematuria(blood tinged urine),fever,pain abdomen.

2.As your doctor said,kidney stones often show such kind of report,so he wants to rule out the kidney stones/bladder stones.I strongly recommend you to go for an ultrasound as it would help you to know the exact cause for your hematuria.

You do not need a second opinion,if you are sure about your symptoms,and have the belief in your doctors approach,because I assure you he's taking the right step.
