What Does This Urine Cytology Test Result Indicate?

My husband is having a small firm mass at the base of the penis shaft where it attaches to the groin. I has been there for almost 8 years now without pain or increase in size. But recently he had a urine cytology (due to presence of blood in urine) which says abnormal cells - indeterminate atypical urothelial cells. He has had bilateral kidney stones in both ureters of which one was removed by ESWL and DJ stent insertion and removal 2 years back. He still has a 10 mm nonobstructive stone in the right ureter. Our concern is regarding the recent cytology. Please help.

Thanks for asking at Healthcare Magic. I read your question and I understand your concern.
Indeterminate atypical cells are due to stones in kidneys. However low grade malignancy can't be ruled out. I would suggest you CT abdomen with contrast to ruled out sinister problem.
Hope it helps best.
