I am 76 years old, I have diabetic for more than 25 years. My urine Microscopy result show; RBC 80-90 Pus Cells 5-7 Epithelial Cells 1-2 Earlier morning my urine color is "brownish or coffee color" after that the following urine color become 'white'. May I know the meaning of the above test result?
Hi thank you for querry. Hematuria due to UTI. As you mentioned your symptoms nirmally if more than 5 to 6 RBC in urine on more than 2 ocassions suggestive of hematuria. your urine colour change due to RBC in your urine along with increase pus cells suggestive of UTI. you are also diabetic in case protien must be checked with urine to rule out any glomerular injury. hematuria actually a sign not a disease so treat the underlying disease is cure. urine culturr may required in such cases.
