What does the following mean?Is it normal?: Uterus anteverted, measures 30x69x52mm. Showing large well defined hypoechoic lesion(56x53mm) at the fundus. EMT appears thickened and hyperechoic.
The findings consistent with possible large fibromyoma present at the fundus of the uterus.
According to USG report there is a large fibroid(measuring 56 x 53 mm)in the fundus region of the uterus. Fibroid is benign tumour of the uterus. Treatment of fibroid is both conservative and surgical depending upon many things like age, family is completed or not, symptoms etc. Endometrial thickness is also increased. You need clinical correlation and biopsy of endometrium.Proper treatment depend upon biopsy report. You should consult gynecologist. Hope i have answered your query.
