General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per my clinical experience, the degree of acromioclavicular joint space is vital to co relate with the underlying possibility of sprain with its mechanism of impact of injury. However, an MRI would be much more informative and efficient for the particular diagnosis and further management guidelines accordingly.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
