Hi i would like some help here.this is what happens, i went to my Dr for an annual exam, i was was filling very tired my legs always very weak and the lab work results were TSH 0.18- ALT 36H- my Dr repeated the labs one week after TSH was 1.89 and they did T3 was 71. She referred me to an endocrinology they did the rest of the labs and the endocrinology told me that i did not have any thyroid problems she said that i needed to see a rheumatology .Oh and i also have a hypoechoic nodule on my thyroid 3mm. I am going for a second opinion because i still fill really bad. i would like to know if she could be wrong and why i need to a rheumatology and a neurology dr. Thank you
Although you have given all lab reports here, your actual problems or symptoms are missing here. Why you had to visit him and why the tests were ordered? Do you have any joint pains, rash or recurring fever(symptoms suggesting need for rheumatology workup).
The given reports are absolutely normal, except for ultrasound which shows a hypoechoic nodule in thyroid- but unless painful or too large, this doesn't require any treatment, provided other sonologic findings are normal.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam TK, Pediatrician
