What Does Tickling Sensation In The Throat Indicate?
I am having a tickling sensation on my lower throat region, first I though it was a sore throat but not anymore. Before all this I started feeling like swallowing mucus, went to see Dr and prescribed nasal spray and this cleared. Now the soreness on my throat is still there going down to my chest. The pain is not severe its the tickling sensation that is a bother.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of tickling sensation in the throat which is mainly due to accumulation of secretions due to upper respiratory infection. I would suggest you to do warm saline gargles. Also apply warm compresses on neck . You should take proper antibiotic course for 5 days. You should take antiallergic medication Sinarest as well. Avoid intake of sharp and spicy food. Drink plenty of fluids. Visit ENT specialist once and get it examined. You should get routine blood test and throat swab done and start treatment after proper diagnosis. Avoid cold carbonated beverages. Avoid oily and sharp food.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
