What Does Tight Sensation In The Chest Indicate?

Hi I have been suffering from a tightness in my chest and am worried that it may have something to do with my heart. The reason I say this is because I have heart problems in the family. However, I also seem to have a lot of wind as well and not sure if I should get it checked out

Hi thank you for querry,
As you mentioned your symptoms regarding chest tightness and positive family history of heart disease.
if a patient came to me with such complaints
first i will go proper history and examination which is impirtant such as age,chest pain,its radiation shortness of breath,peda edema.
ECG must be done to rule out any underlying ischemia
Fasting lipid profile.
if every thing fine than start APD medication for stomach
cap.omeprazole 20mg once before breakfast.
