Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello I have just been referred to neurology. For the past 8 days I have had varying left sided tingling, pins and needles, numbness, weakness in the arms and legs. One episode of above on/around heart/breast left sided only. I went into emergency with a splitting head ache located about 1 cm above the right temple and was around 2cm around. My right pupil is slightly more dilated then my left. The head pain lasted for 8hrs before it became so intense and I started to have trouble speaking properly. In the emergency they did a CT to rule out stroke or tumour. I had another episode today where I just felt internal tremors and fuzzy head and speaking sentences was hard almost like forgetting what I was saying and long pauses. I know I am going to where needs to be but any insight to prepare for possible outcomes would be great.
