What Does Tingling Sensation In The Left Calf Indicate?

I am getting pin prick feeling in left front calf..I am having a vein procedure next month due to a cluster of veings on shin that if scratched bleed. Vascular surgeon will remove the vein on leg causing the cluster and to elminate it. Is there any connection. I sit at computer a lot during the day.

ello,

Yes, itching kind of or tingling sensation can happen due to vein blockage and lactate accumulation can cause you this kind of feeling which would even increase. But unless and until your vein is fixed up it is difficult to stop this pathological process. You can use moisturizing creams to soothe that area but antihistaminics is least likely to help you. It might give you some relief if you try.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Dr. Archana
