What Does Tingling Sensation In The Right Arm Indicate?

I have tingling (feels like electric shock) down my entire right arm extending to my fingers. It comes and gos but is mostly there at varying intensities and pain levels. What doctor would I see? I am assuming it may be a pinched nerve in arem or neck

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

You ate very right, the pain you described really looks to be from the pinched nerve it is mostly pinched in the neck but also possible to be in the arm or even in the wrist like carpel tunnels syndrome. You can talk to neurophysician or a neurosurgeon in this regards. Once confirmed by examination and some tests (may need MRI )most of the times this is managed with physiotherapy and some pain medicine.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
