What Does Tongue Ulcer In The Histopathology Report Suggest?
Hello Sir,
i G.Raghupathi reddy have a pigmented spot on the middle of the tongue.I dont have any pain there.before i didnt feel sensation on the spot.but after using cap: NOVACLOX-LB 500mg & COMBIFLAME for 2 weeks the sensation restored.
conducted HISTOPATHOLOGY and got the report yesterday.
SPECIMEN - BIOPSY TONGUE ULCER
GROSS - Received a grey tan bit measuring 0 . 5 cms
MICROSCOPIC EXAMINATION - Sections show stratified squamous epithelium with hyperkeratosis and moderate acanthosis . Epithelium shows ulceration and base of the ulcer shows dense inflammatory cell collections .
IMPRESSION -SUGGESTIVE OF NON - SPECIFIC ULCER
My age is 60 years.i dont have sugar and BP.i take a peg of wisky for last 30years.
kindly please suggest or guide me the condition of my health and actual problem.

As per your description, there is nothing to worry about the biopsy report; it just ruled out cancer and states that the lesion was some chronic inflammatory or irritative in nature!
