What Does Tricuspid Regurgitation And Mild Pulmonary Hypertension Indicate?

Hi I am a 37 year old mother of two I am 5 2 and 113 pounds. In March I went to the ER for heart pain. They said I have a panic disorder. I looked through my file and saw mild tricuspid regurgitation and mild pulmonary hypertension. What does this mean? I have not seen my doctor yet. But he did diagnose me with tricuspid regugitation after an exam. Can I fly in an airplane? Leaving to California Tuesday.

Hi, I did review your concern. You can certainly travel in airplane if you are not experiencing any acute shortness of breath. Mild pulmonary hypertension can sometimes lead to tricuspid regurgitation due to backpressure changes but the question is why there is pulmonary htn in 1st place. It should be diagnosed. Please consult a physician at your earliest convinenience for correct diagnosis. there is medical treatment for pulm htn available in market and hence can be treated or slowed down in progression
i hope this helps
Wish you good luck and bon voyage!
