Hi,
Thanks for choosing healthcaremagic.
Your ultrasound report states that it is normal. 20/40 means that the scan was done at 20 weeks out of a total of 40 weeks of gestation. 9 months of pregnancy corresponds to 40 weeks.
Normally, there is another scan in the third trimester to assess fetal well being. So, there is an advise to repeat scan after 10 weeks (10/52), i.e. after 2.5 months. PRN means if any circumstances are there before.
So either you should get an ultrasound after 2.5 months or earlier if there are any complaints. Thats what is written in the report.
About the placenta, the position is normal as it is higher up.
There is nothing to worry for you as the report is completely normal. Only the terminology was different and it should have been explained to you properly.
Hope it sorts your problem and wishing you a speedy recovery.
