What Does Unilocular Cysts In The Ovary Containing Hyperechoic Material Consistent With Haemorrhage Mean In A 6 Wks Pregnant Lady?
I've just had an early pregnancy ultrasound and found to have a unilocular cystic lesion measuring 22x13x20mm in the right oveary 27x21x38mm. it contains hyperechoic material consistent with haemorrhage. i am 6 weeks pregnant and 41 years old. what does this mean? Especially for the baby?
It can be normally seen in pregnancy especially in IVF pregnancies as ovaries do become large with pregnancy but the hemorhage can give you abdominal pain . If you are asymptomatic nothing to worry about you or baby. But i you get tummy pain you have to immediately show to a gynecologist
