hi good day..im quite nervous of the result of my urinalysis.. i havent seen a doctor yet.. im female 27yrs old color light yellow tranfarency hazy ph 6.0 reaction acidic specific gravity 1.010 protein neg. sugar neg. microscopic examination pus cells 14-16 hpf rbc 2-3 hpf epethelial cells moderate amorphous urates few mucous thread few bacteria modeerate others: pus cells seen in clumps; 2-3/hpf What does these mean? thank you so much

Hello,

Your mentioned urine report suggestive of urinary tract infection.

For that, you need to be given an empirical nitrofurantoin tablet and submit urine for culture before starting nitrofurantoin.

According to urine culture report than antibiotic need to be modified.
