Hi. I am post menopausal and just went to have an ultrasound due to cyst on my ovary and fibroids. Cyst appears normal, although large, but they also noted that the uterine wall measured 6.77. I was told normal thickness is generally 4-5. My doctor took a biopsy, but results won t be back for a week. He also took blood to run test for ovarian cancer. He indicated that a while 6.77 is outside the normal range, typically a much thicker measurement of 10+ would concern him. I am wondering if he was just telling me this to keep me from worrying. I know you cannot diagnose, but wanted your thoughts.
