What Does Vaginal Spotting During Early Pregnancy Indicate?

Hi doctor, I took a pregnancy test 4 days prior to my period and got a positive result. Went to doctor and confirmed pregnancy from beta test. My hcg value was 576. I was given hcg injections once in 5 days. A week later, 5 days post my period date, early morning I bled lightly and the whole day light spotting. Went to doctor and took beta test again my hcg value was 5109. Next day just 2 times spotting. What will be the reason for spotting?

Consult gynecologist for examination and advise on further investigation and treatment. It can be be hormonal imbalance. It may not be abortion.
