What Does White Chalky Discharge From Penis Of A Child Suggest?
I have a 5 year old autistic son. Approx 45 lbs. Woke up this morning with a white chalky discharge in his underwear. This has never happened before he is pottytrained. Any ideas on what it could be? He does grab and pull at himself a lot but this is nothing new has done that for about a year or more. Should I be taking him to his ped?
Smegma is a thick, white, cheesy substance that collects under the foreskin of the penis. It occurs more commonly in uncircumcised male who do properly clean the area. Smegma is normal. But when bacteria collects in the region, infections can occur.
Any other associated symptoms like itching or scratches in the penile region can indicate infections which requires treatment.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
