Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have had a vaginal white/creamy discharge and have been treated for a yeast infection with oral and creams and it has gotten a little better. Finished the last treatment of cream a week ago, and I am still having some of the discharge but not as bad. Do you have any suggestions?
I shall make an effort to provide you with good professional recommendations specific to your questions. Most of the time, vaginal discharge is perfectly normal. The amount can vary, as can odor and hue. Recurrent vaginal yeast infection can be treated with prescription oral medicine, nonprescription vaginal medicine, or vaginal boric acid capsules, followed by less frequent medicine over 6 months to 1 year to prevent reinfection. I advice you to consult doctor for re examination.
Yet again, I duly appreciate your query to me, I do hope that you have found something useful to help you and I shall be glad to answer any further apprehensions.
Sincerely,
I find this answer helpful
