What Does Yellow Discharge From The Right Ear Indicate?
Hi my name is sandhya.....i have a baby 5 months old her right ear is discharging some yellow discharge frm 2 days m cleaning it with cotton but its not going n she is rubbing her ears ......before delivery i had same prblm...plz suggest some ear drops for my baby r i can give her candibiotic ear drops
It looks like the yellow discharge from the ear is due to infection in ear causing pus discharge.. Your baby is rubbing the ears because it looks like there is infection in the ear causing him pain and discomfort.
Cleaning it alone at home can cause damage to the eardrum. Also it can spread the infection..
So my suggestion is to consult a Paediatrician and get evaluated.
If there is infection then he can be advised antibiotic syrup and also antibiotic ear drop to resolve the infection faster. Also avoid moisture exposure and wipe the pus as it comes out..
Hope this helps.
Regards. Dr.Honey Arora.
