General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi,
Passing stools following feed can be considered normal provided the consistency of stool is not liquid, there is no pain and baby does not cry with stools, not number of stools per day does not exceed 4-6 times in a day and there are no signs of dehydration in baby. You can try with diluting the feed/replace it with diluted&boiled cow milk. If nothing applies, consult treating paediatrician for further advice.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
