What Dosage Of Chlordiazepoxide Is Advisable To Detox The Body?
i went to hospital today and got chlordiazepoxide for detox and it is not working at all. I was prescribed 50 mg every 8 hours for 3 doses then tapers to 1 every 6 hours for 4 doses. then one every 8 hours. I don t feel like it did anything. Can I take a higher dose?

The dose of Chlordiazepoxide 3 to 4 times a day gradually reduced. As you are already taking optimum dose, I would suggest you should not increase the dose without the prescriptions of your doctor. You are already on a high optimum dose. I think you should complete the course as is told to you by your doctor.
