What Dosage Of Clonazepam Is Equivalent To 2mg Of Xanax?

I m on 2 mg Xanax up to 3 times per day, for twenty years now. I have breakthroughs of pain attacks. I would like to change to Clonazepam , because of the half life being longer & could make me more stable. In your opinion, what would be the equivalent dose of Clonazepam? (So I can talk to my doctor in an educated way.)
