What Dosage Of Naproxen Is Advisable For A Child?

good evening I am trying to find images of gel capsules, my daughter took several that were half blue and a kind of pinky shade. She said they were naproxin but i want to figure out the dosage, someone @ school gave them to her this afternoon because her lower back has been bothering her.

Hi-

Good question. Naproxen is typically 220 mg OTC and 500 Rx strength. It lasts roughly 12 hours and is a better alternative than Ibuprofen for chronic pain. If this is an acute disorder, I would suggest Ibuprofen (lasts 8 hours).

Cheers.
