What Dosage Of Penicillin Should Be Taken For Pain In Hip Joint?

My twelve years old daughter is suffering from hip joint pain she was done an asot test it was positive at 800 instead of 200. She was prescribed an asprin dose.Later the pain reappeared and the test was 400 asprin was prescribed again the pain didnt disappear and the test was positive again at 400.I was told she should take penicillin what is the dosage that she should take?

I have gone through your query. Penicillin G dosage given for adult is 800 mg per day for high ASOT. This can be taken as twice daily as 400mg each time or as once daily with 800mg dose. For twelve years and above if weight is above 35kg then adult dos can be given. This is given for long term like 2 years or more also.
