What Dosage Of Seroquel Is Advisable For An Adolescent?

Is 600 mg of seroquel too high a dose for my 18 yr son, he seems extremely depressed and lethargic and been on it for about 3 weeks. He has some episodes of feeling psychotic in that he is being watched but they are sporadic. What would be an average expected dose as he seems to be on too high a dose and getting addicted. He is also getting Ativan as needed for anxiety at 2 mg a couple of times daily for sleep. He is in the hospital psych ward with passes.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if it is the severe functional condition then it is better to discuss the dosage of psychiatrist and it is not advisable to adjust the dose without the advise of psychiatrist some time it may not be needed but may need second drug of choice, may need nonpharmacological management hope this information helps.
