I have a friend who is on 100 mg of Zoloft. But still is very anxious and after a while things build up and she kind of blows up and then cries and kind of turns inward . I m wondering what the maximum dose of Zoloft is possible so we can talk to the dr.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The dosage of Zoloft varies from person to person depending on the response.

Probably your friend needs to increase dosage since this dosage doesn't work.

She can try to increase the daily dosage with 20 mg and then increase it again next week with 20 mg.

She can't exceed 200 mg of dosage per day.

Hope I have answered the question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
