What Dose My CT Scan Report Indicate?

I had a CT of my chest done and it showed 2poorly define d nodular densities on my left lung1 is 8mm and the other one is 6mm with a tiny subpleural density also present on my left lung. it also showed nonspecific mediastinal adenopathy there is a precarnial node measuring 8x14mm and a prevascular node measuring 8x12mm with additional smaller nodes seen also on left lung. what does all this mean and showed I be worried? In 3 months I will have another CT of my chest

Welcome to health care magic.

1. There are two suspicious nodular densities in left lung with margins ill-defined ( poorly able to demarcate the margins).
2. This is seen in lung malignancies but it is not confirm as it is also seen in case of infection / inflammation.
3.Few enlarged lymph nodes are seen - also seen in case on malignancies and infections.
4. So in this situation the treating doctor has decided to have a follow-up CT to compare the density after some treatment.
5. If infection / inflammation it will be healed where as in malignancy there will be increased in growth. In that case next step will be BIOPSY - for confirmation.

Good luck.
