What Food To Eat To Not To Get Phlegm?
helloo, my name is surya and i have a 11 month old baby boy. from the second month of his birth he also got cough, fever due to phlegm. last month he was even addmitd in d hospital for 104 dg fever due to lower respiratary tract infction. i try my best not to give him things that cause phlegm but still he gets it. now hes not having cold, fever or anything but when he breaths i can hear a different sound which is actually unusual. doctor please suggest what should i do to get rid of his phlegm. and what should i give him to eat. ???plzzz n is cerelac safe?

your child is suffering from wheezy bronchitis.Most probably triggered by virus or allergen.In this disease tubes in lungs( bronchus) gets swollen and also there is decrease in internal diameter.with asthalin and duolin bronchi get dilated towards normal size and therby reducing distress.BUT in severe distress this thing is not enough.It requires to decrease internal swelling of bronchus.IT can only be done by steroids.If given at proper doses,under expert guidence and for short period then steroid generaly dont cause serious side effects
