What Foods Soothe The Gallbladder?

im scheduled for gallbladder removal surgery in 2 weeks. My question is everything i eat or drink makes my gallbladder feel like its on fire so i dont really dare eat or drink much. What are foods or liquid i can consume that wont irritate this? because even water drives it crazy. Also what is a list of things i can eat or drink after surgery that wont bother me.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
hello,
i can understand your concern.
i would like to know the reason for the surgery planned for .
these are some of the foods to be avoided which include fried foods, foods rich in cholesterol, saturated fats, red meat.
try to include more of fresh fruits and vegetables in the diet.
once you are done with the surgery you should not be having the symptoms you are facing.
have a healthy balance diet post surgery.
physical activity has to be increased few months after surgery.
if the pain is unbearable i would suggest an antiinflammatory drug like aceclofenac as and when required prior to surgery.
hope you are satisfied with the response .
thanks for choosing HCM
