Hello,
Continue taking anti-diarrheals that have been prescribed. Take boiled water after cooling it. Take boiled food that is easily digestible and well cooked. Avoid intake of hot, spicy, oily food. Do not take packaged or processed food. Take water and fluids adequately to avoid
dehydration.
Stay at rest and get LFT (liver function test), urinalysis (R/E and C/S), stool examination (R/E and C/S), Widal test done. Your symptoms are indicative of stress, indigestion, overeating, liver dysfunction,
gastroenteritis, IBS, etc. You can take antacids or PPIs, one stat when needed to get rid of
abdominal pain, bloating,
abdominal cramp or discomfort. Take digestives and liver tonic.
If LFT test report is detected to be not normal than you will have to get done imaging tests for liver to detect
hepatomegaly or any other underlying medical condition. Get clinically examined by a GP, your treatment will depend on the pathology detected.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
