What Happens If Loestrine Intake Is Stopped?

I currently have taken 2 weeks of Lo Loestrin Fe to help with PMDD but since taking it I have not been feeling well...tired, feeling more blue than usual, and headaches. I would like to stop taking the pill. Could it be not a good fit for me and what would happen if I stopped in the middle of the month?

Hello,

I think you can stop loestrin if it is not suitable for you. You have to use other contraceptive methods such condoms in order to prevent pregnancy.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
