What Happens When A 80 Year Old High BP Patient Refuses Quadruple Heart By-pass Surgery ?
Dr. s are recommending quadruple heart by-pass surgery for my 80 yr old great Aunt. She is refusing any surgery. What will happen if she doesn t have surgery? She also has high blood pressure and has been having mini strokes (TIA s???)

As you mentioned the age of your Aunt. is 80 years so looking to her age & as you mentioned here that she also has h/o stroke so any cardiac surgical intervasion wont help her any more because without CABG she could complete her life span CABG is not advisable in this age
