What Harm Does Taking Meprate Cause After Conception?
Hi there, I have irregular periods for 3 months and last month pregnancy test came positive. To treat the irregularity I was given meprate tablets and i took it for 3 days twice a day. Suddenly found the news that am 4 weeks pregnant. Seriously worried about the effects of the tablets on the baby. Heard from doctor that only sac is seen in scan its very early pregnancy foetus has to be developed yet to analyse if its healthy pregnancy. Please help me out does the tablets have effects on the baby in my case?

Three day course of tablets might not have serious effects on the fetus.Since it is an early stage,visualisation of scan by 12 weeks is atleast needed to detect any anomalies.Do not worry. Avoid any other drug intake without supervision.
