What Helps With Pain In Shoulders, Pain In The Base Of Neck And Upper Back?

I was in a car accident on Dec 2nd 2011, someone turned left right in front of me. I first hit the car, then a roadside electrical box, then a tree, which stopped me. The first night my knees were very painful and swollen, they took xrays of my knees and said it was soft tissue. Over the next few weeks other symptoms started, i had a severe headache for the first two weeks, my arms became numb when I slept and pain started in my shoulders, between my shoulder blades, shoulders, burning from my neck down my arm, pain in the base of my neck and upper back. it hurts to lift my head up. 2 weeks ago I reached for my shampoo bottle in the shower and I felt alot of pain in the centre upper back, At this point it felt like I had put something out, the pain seems to go from left side to right side and is getting worse not better. I have been going to a chiropractor and massage therapy. When the correction is done by the chiropractor it feels better temporarily and by that night its worse again.
