I was prescribed chlorthalid or clorthalid for high B/P, (can t remember the spelling) by my doctor. It worked really well and fast in lowering my B/P, but is it for B/P or cholesterol? I could not find it in the drug book and I would like to know it s function.
I read carefully your query and understand your concern.
Chlorthalidone is a prescription drug used to treat high blood pressure. It is also used to reduce extra salt and water in the body caused by conditions such as heart failure, liver disease, and kidney disease.
Hope my answer was helpful.
