Would Epinephrine Used In A Breast Biopsy Lower Potassium Levels?

Would epinephrine used in a breast biopsy lower potassium levels? I suffered a fall in January following a breast biopsy. I was taking Chlorthalidone at the time and a potassium supplement. Could epinephrine and chlorthalidone cause potassium levels to drop enough to cause me to faint?

It is unlikely that low potassium levels would cause you to faint. Though possible, low potassium levels is not the most common cause of fainting unless it was documented at the time of incidence. Chlorthalidone causes potassium wasting and over time can cause a drop in potassium levels. Epinephrine would not cause a similar side effect and more so because it was administered locally.
