What Is Gupisone Prescribed For?
Hi I have Cervical spondolysis and doctor recommended Gupisone 20mg (Prednisolone) tablet for 2 times a day for 5 days. But I do have peptic ulcer and Hypertension since last 6 years. If i have this tablets, will there be any side effects? Please advice.

Prednisolone tablets (Gupisone) are given sometimes in patients with joint problems to reduce inflammation and help relieve pain.
Prednisolone may cause aggravation of peptic ulcer so you will need to use some Omeprazole to help reduce the chance it will get worse. Because you are using it only for 5 days, it is very likely you will be fine especially if you make sure you eat regularly and take Omeprazole.
