What Is Primolut N Used For?

Hi I m 25 n I have just done with laproscopy..8*7cm chocolate cyst was removed from my right ovary and 2-3poly cyst were punctured on left ovary..tubes and other organs were found normal..my question are 1.i have been described for progynova 2 mg for 15 day’s 3 Tab per day and Next 5 Days primolut 3 times per day!! What are these tablets for??? 2.when should I start planning pregnancy ..I have no babies yet and we have started trying since just 4 months?? 3.are chocolate cysts cancerous??

This tablets are used to mimic the cycle of hormones and to put ovary at rest and to protect against pregnancy.
Your ob-gyn should evaluate the situation if you can start trying for baby or wait so mm e months.
Your period will come within 7 days of stopping primolut n.
The Ca125 is a tumoral marker for ovary cancer and you should have done it.
Also biopsy of removed cyst show if there is cancer or not.
