Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Is A Bump On The Middle Of Penile Shaft Suggestive Of?
I have a bump in the middle of the shaft of my penis. I don t believe that it is an STD/STI, because I have had it for about 4 months now, and it hasn t grown, nor have any other bumps appeared. Could it be some sort of friction burn/scar resulting from masturbation? At the time that it appeared, I was masturbating about twice a day.
Bump in the shaft of penis might be related to hematoma (collection of blood) due to injury during masturbation, pyeronie's disease, fibrous plaque or allergic reaction.
Here, I would like further information for better assessment of the condition if possible upload me a photograph Is there any visible angulation in your penis.?
In my opinion you should see general surgeon for physical examination and if need be surgical correction of the bump.
Hope I could answer your question please feel free to ask for follow up question I will gladly answer you. Best wishes
