Hello doctor I had gone through dncdnc due to miscarriage last year Oct den 2months I got my periods after that I dint get my periods after that den last month I ate papaya I got periods on 14 July till 3weeks I got bleeding I went for scanning they said everything normal but hormalic cyct in my left side ovary den again dey gave table for regularising periods again I got my periods tis month 14 teen wat should I do now doctor
Hello dear I understand your concern Hormalic suggests polycystic ovarian cyst/PCOS. It cause hormonal imbalance and insulin resistance and it cause menstrual irregularity. I would suggest to undergo reproductive hormone analysis and ovarian follicle study for better management. Doctor will give following advises: Birth control pill or progesterone pill will useful to regularize the period. Metformin use to maintain glucose homeostasis and induction of ovulation. Clomiphene citrate can be used. Reduce 10 % body weight if you are obese. Avoid excessive salt and sweet in the diet. Drink plenty of water and take healthy diet. Hope this may help you
