What Is A Dark Spot On Knee As Shown In X Ray Suggestive Of?
My 10 yr old daughter has been having pain in her left knee for months. She has times where it locks up and pops. the doctor had an xray done this week and said she has a dark spot on her knee...taking her back in 3 weeks for another..and been referred to Ortho...any idea what it may be?

This sounds like a bone cysts which is nothing too serious but I think she needs an MRI scan of the knee to check for a meniscal tear
