What Is A Hard, Movable, Marble Sized Lump In Cheek Suggestive Of?

Grandchild has hard , moveable marble-sized lump in her cheek. It was just noticed this evening. It is not painful. She had tonsils and adenoids removed seven weeks ago with no complications. she has been really picking at her nose, mostly the right nostril and has been blowing blood and scab-like material from her nose, which we thought was part of the healing process. The lump is on the left side of her face. Mom is calling her pediatrician in the morning, as well as the ENT who did the surgery.

Hi...Can understand your concern...As per your query about hard movable and marble sized lump on cheeks of your grandchild ....is probably allergy to any medicine she is taking after tonsillectomy she is taking.....or it can also be a injury to some minor salivary duct in oralcavity which produces mucous due to cheek bite...since it is painless yo need not to worry and wait few days.. it will dissolve in some days but if yo find any pain or colour change or size you should consult an oral physician for getting it examined....Consult he pediatrician about the follow up after tonsillectomy..I hope the information helps you...Take care.
