What Is A Moving Raised Ridge Inside Left Cheek Suggestive Of?

I have a raised ridge inside my left cheek that started mid-cheek and is now alongside my nose and down, like it's been moving. This is the second week now. It's about 1/4 inch wide and 2 inches long. No trauma except chomped on my tongue eating popcorn, kernal slipped, tongue bled, two small holes. Healed, now this. INSIDE my cheek, no rough patch in mouth, nothing coming to surface like a boil. Any ideas?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that a raised ridge on inner cheek present from mid cheek region to he area along side the nose with no pain or any symptoms of blistering seems to be probably Linea Alba that is a thick keratin layer and occurs due to continuous friction and sucking pressure inside the cheeks..
But for confirmation you need to consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and in case if linea alba is confirmed as the diagnosis then it generally does not need treatment but in case if you have nay habit like cheek biting, braces, sharp teeth etc, getting the irritant removed can gradually lead to resolution..
