What Is A Muffled Buzzing Sound When I Cough?

I've had a cold for the past two days, I was also sick a couple of times on saturday night. I was feeling better today until for no apparent reason my right ear popped like I was on a plane, that was two hours ago and it's still not right. I've got a muffled buzzing sound and it's sore, especially if I cough. I've tried lying on my side to clear it but it didn't help, I feel sick and a little disorientated. I had no pain before a couple of hours ago

Hello,
I have gone through your query,
It seems you have developed Acute otitis media as a complication of cold.
This Acute otitis media develops due to the spread of infection from the back of nose to the middle part of ear.
You should get an ENT consultation done and get examined and then you might need to take antibiotics and decongestants both oral and nasal .
The complication could be severe pain and then perforation in the drum and discharge of blood stained fluid.
In doubt do reply
