What Is A Sharp Pain Below The Rib Cage Indicative Of?
53 year old male, 5 9 , 200 lbs.Second day my husband has a sharp pain that comes and goes below my rib cage on my left side, but now it s becoming more constant and sharper. He feels like it s swollen in that area. He also feels a tingling sensation on the same area but on his back. Any idea what this could be?

This could be coming from several things. It could be related to the stomach, gastritis or ulcer. It could also be coming from the pancreas especially since you mention the back. Seeing a doctor for a physical exam and getting labs done would be the best idea to really figure out what is going on and getting appropriate treatment.
